Anand Mohan is a committed and passionate social work professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in Youth and Community Development. With over four years of experience in the social development sector, he brings extensive expertise in program implementation, advocacy, and capacity-building, with a strong focus on marginalized and vulnerable populations. His professional journey includes significant contributions to the Suraksha Project under the Kerala State AIDS Control Society, where he worked closely with the HIV-positive community. His responsibilities included community outreach, awareness generation, and the delivery of tailored support services for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Anand has also played a vital role in working with children in conflict with the law, supporting their rehabilitation and reintegration through structured intervention strategies that promote psychosocial development and protect legal rights. As a dedicated child rights advocate, he has actively participated in initiatives aimed at protecting and promoting the rights of vulnerable children. His work in this area includes community engagement, awareness-building, and policy advocacy. He is also highly skilled in facilitating life skills training programs for adolescents and youth, empowering them to navigate personal and social challenges. In addition, he has led multiple parent management training sessions aimed at enhancing parenting practices and improving the overall well-being of children within their families and communities.
Mr. Muzaffar Ahmed is a resident of village Sangla, Tehsil Surankote, District Poonch. He is Founder & Chief Functionary, Public Peace and Development Foundation, a youth-led Organization working for the education of Line of Control (LOC) Conflict affected children and youth in Jammu and Kashmir.
Presently he is working with multiple National and International Youth Development organizations. He is also working as ‘Global Peace Ambassador-India’ with the Global Peace Chain and General Secretary for Jammu and Kashmir with National Youth Council of India (NYCI). He was invited as Guest speaker by South Asian Youth Organizations for webinar sessions.
Previously, he worked as ‘National Youth Volunteer (NYV)’ in Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, Research Fellow at Tata Institute of Social Sciences—Mumbai in ‘Devolution Index Survey 2015.
He is recipient of “National Youth Icon Award-2019”from International Youth Committee (IYC) during “World Youth Summit, 2019” on 27th of September, 2019 at New Delhi (India) He is also Recipient of “South Asian Youth Development Award-2019”from International Youth Development Council (IYDC) during “South Asian Youth Development Summit, 2019” (2-5 November 2019) at Kathmandu, Nepal.
